ABOUT EVENT
After a 2-year pause BSides'es team has decided to arrange a new event. We all know about the things and situations that happened in 2017. We also know about the lack of specialists on the market, so we decided to create events and parties because without such activities development of Information Security community moves very slowly. Having analyzed the situation with the security conferences in Ukraine, we understood that we need to involve young people in infosec. BSidesKyiv2018 will be focused on such people who want to start learning infosec but don't know where to dig for more information. And by such people we mean students and enthusiasts.
The conference takes place on April 21, 2018 and consists of two streams:
Stream 1 for the very beginners. This stream will contain information about the basics of infosec, its branches and the skills one needs to become proficient in this field.
Stream 2 will be organized for average level specialists who already have some experience but want to learn more and try something new.
The ticket will cost 50 UAH because we want to see those people who are really interested in Information Security. We won't collect your personal data. You will get a token for entrance. You will also get a personal badge which you will be able to fill in with any information you want to provide.
