South Texas College together with other private and public sector organizations is putting together a cybersecurity event for the community.  The event will be named BSides RGV 2018 and will follow the well-known BSides community-driven framework.  In order to make this event a success, we need your help.  We are looking for sponsors, volunteers, and also for presentations for the event.  What makes a BSides different than any other cybersecurity event is that the goal is to create opportunities for individuals to both present and participate in an intimate atmosphere that encourages collaboration.  We not only want to encourage the local information security community to attend, but also to submit a presentation proposal.  We know there is talent in our community‚Ķthis is a chance to share your knowledge with your peers.
